Adult Dogs:

The daily amount of food that adult dogs require is influenced by their environment， activity， size and breed. The amount fed should be adjusted according to the dog's appetite and body condition. Extremely active or hard-working dogs may require and consume 1 Y2 to 3 times the amount of food indicated for their weight on the chart Once per day feeding is adequate for adult dogs. When making the change in your dog's diet to Good Friends Hi Energy Performance Blend Dog Food， we recommend that you allow 7 to 10 days for the transition， gradually adding more Good Friends Hi Energy Performance Blend Dog Food and less of the previous food to your dog's dish each day.

Puppies:

Puppies begin to eat solid food at 3-4 weeks of age. To serve moist， simply add one-part warm water to four parts Good Friends Hi Energy Performance Blend Dog Food. Stir until the pieces become moistened. Feed your dog while the food is still warm. Feed pups all the moistened Good Friends Hi Energy Performance Blend Dog Food they will consume at intervals throughout the day or use the chart as a guide and feed approximately twice as much as suggested. If fed moistened， do not serve more than what the puppies will consume in a 30-minute period to ensure product freshness. If fed dry， food can be made available to puppies at all times. After one year， follow the feeding chart.

Pregnancy and Nursing: Good Friends Hi Energy Performance Blend Dog Food provides the extra nutrition needed by reproducing females in all states of gestation and lactation. Food consumption may vary during gestation， so feed the amount needed to maintain the pregnant female's good body condition. Food intake may double or even quadruple during lactation.

Use the standard chart as a guide. Start with the recommended amount and then vary according to your dog's appetite and body condition. Provide fresh， clean water at all times.
