Uses
Prednisolone Acetate is indicated for the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammation in the eye.
Possible Side Effects
Side effects are usually dose-dependent. If side effects occur, contact your vet, who may decrease the dosage, frequency or type of corticosteroid. Possible side effects include stomach upset and increased thirst, urination and/or appetite. Contact your vet immediately if you notice any strange behaviors or symptoms.
Drug & Food Interactions
Many medications (especially NSAIDs) may interact with Prednisolone or lessen/change its effects. Talk to your vet about all other medications and supplements your pet is taking.
Precautions
Animals who are allergic to Prednisolone or similar medications should not be given this. Do not touch dropper tip to any surface, as this may contaminate the suspension.
